CONTEST UPDATE!

Well people, I am a little concerned.

I know there were about 20-25 people when I first brought this up that said they would participate.

It was kicked off early this month, and scheduled to end for submissions on the 30th. So far, I have gotten 2. And they are from the Canadian contingent.

I am going to follow through with this, but want to solicit ideas that might kick it back off here.

Do I need to extend? Was 3 1/2 weeks not long enough? [img]confused.gif[/img]

anything else?

Right now, if the number remains low, I am just going to put it up to voting in the forum, and if not enough is garnered there, I may ask the other mods to vote and that be the deciding factor.

Please let me know what I can do to make this work out.

UPDATE 4/26::::::

OK, I am extending the contest. If it gives everyone a chance to get something in and have the additional time to think on a good submission than just throw something together, I am for it.

I will go in and update the main contest thread as well, but I wanted to put this up get everyone's attention for a day or so.

The contest initially was to have a submission deadline of April 30th, with voting to be conducted from May 1st through the 8th. I am changing it (yes arbitrarily) to have a submission deadline date of May 15th. I will determine the time line for voting depending on the final tally of photos that have been sent in.

That all sound fair?

sorry megs havent hade time doing it but it aint the 30th yet.. youll recive mine contrubution either tomorrow or tuesday.. since I have a day off tomorrow

wait just so im clear on this...all u have to do is take a pic of spawn with 3 or more of those items?

You, or at least some part of you, has to be in the pict as well. Otherwise, you are correct.

Just your favorite action figure part of you, and at least 3 of those items. Try to make a funny situation with them and give the picture a caption.

SS and q-man, thanks, I know it is n't the 30th, but if I don't raise the question before the 30th, the whole thing them will reek of non committal on my part. I want it to be worth while for everyone and the board at the end, so if there is something I can do to make that happen, just want to hear it! [img]smile.gif[/img]
